Karissa and I were sitting on the couch in the studio talking about what we are going to name the dog I’ve been avoiding getting.  I love the way the light was hitting her so I grabbed my camera.  I love the way these two turned out.  She looks like an old time starlet to me.

Karissa and her cousin Riley were inseparable all weekend.  It was so sweet.  Here they are working quitely/separately on their own art.  They did this for a few hours.  They are not like your “normal” kids.

Karissa jamming in the studio.

This is where Michael spent the weekend.  Well, here or playing Guitar hero.

Future cellist.

For Earth Day this year Karissa and I made her a dress out of the local newspaper.  She got the idea watch the Ellen Degeneres show.  We giggled the whole time making this.  I think we are going to do the whole family next year!!  🙂

I took the kids to go look at the wildflowers today.  I had visions of them running through fields little Laura on Little House on the Prairie.  Not!  They complained the whole time that pebbles were getting in their shoes, the fox tails were attacking, they hated the bugs… was awful!  I did manage to get a few cute pics of the lil’ buggers though.

Easy peasy Cherry Crumble April 21, 2010

I absolutely love this recipe.  It’s super easy and super yummy.  The only problem that I have with this recipe is that when I make it, it’s all that I eat for two days.  It’s that good!!

This is so amazingly yummy and so easy to make. In a 9×13 pan spread a can of cherry pie filling. Then a layer of yellow cake mix. Then a layer of thinly sliced cold butter. Warm butter doesn’t work for obvious reasons. 🙂

Cook 350 – 40 minutes. Don’t undercook, it’s nasty raw. I’m all for raw dough, but not with this recipe.
